Dragon Boat Festival - Hosted by NE Pensacola Sertoma

The 9th Annual Pensacola Dragon Boat Festival is a festival brought to you by your local Northeast Pensacola Sertoma Club, Inc. 

On September 30th, up to 30 teams, supported by thousands of spectators, will be competing for bragging rights. The races start at 8:00am on Bayou Texar, just off Bayview Park near Downtown Pensacola.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Gulf Coast Kid's House to help child victims of abuse and neglect.

Bearded Villains Beard Competition Fundraiser

Gather your family and bring your best beard down to Alga Beer Co. on September 9th! Emerald Coast Bearded Villains is hosting a beard contest, along with drink specials and raffle prizes. This event is family-friendly, and all are welcome to compete in the beard contest! Event takes place 5:30pm - 10pm Saturday evening. 

Proceeds from this event go to GCKH. 

Waiting to be a Waitress FUNDRAISER

This fundraiser is headlined by the premier of “Waiting to be a Waitress”, a one act musical comedy dinner theater written by Pensacola songwriter Ross Orenstein and California playwright Jerome Elliot Moskowitz.

This special three-night only fundraiser will be held August 25, 26, and 27 at The Blocks located at 500 West Belmont Street.

Gulf Coast Kid's House (GCKH) is a non-profit children's advocacy center serving Pensacola and Escambia County. As a children's advocacy center, GCKH combines all the professionals and resources needed for the intervention, investigation, and prosecution of child abuse cases in one child-friendly facility. Child victims and their families also receive mental health counseling at the center. The goal of Gulf Coast Kid's House is to form a more collaborative response to child abuse cases to improve case outcomes and minimize trauma to the children and families they serve.
