Presentation for adults and children providing the past, present, and future story of GCKH. Participants will be introduced to the how, when, who, what, and where of keeping children safe in Escambia County. 

Child Abuse: Recognize, React Responsibly, & Report

60 minutes
This PowerPoint presentation empowers participants to develop their own child abuse prevention plan and to know the steps necessary to end child abuse in our community. 

Darkness to Light: Stewards of Children®

2 Hours
This class teaches adults to recognize the signs of child abuse and how to handle a disclosure of abuse from a child.  GCKH also offers this evidence-informed class monthly in our conference room, free of charge.  

Create a Cyber Safe Home

60 minutes
This facilitator-led presentation is for parents and adults interested in developing a safer home digital environment for their children and their families. 

Teachers Creating Cyber Safe Kids

This facilitator-led presentation is for teachers interested in assisting children in developing and implementing safe practices in a digital environment.

How to be an active bystander in child abuse prevention and response. Learn about boundary violations, inappropriate behaviors, and how to make spontaneous and planned interventions that reinforce boundaries and protect children.

Healthy Touch for Children
Guidelines for healthy touch and safe, respectful ways to interact with children.

Talking with Children
How to talk with children about personal safety and sex so they feel much less vulnerable.

Child Abuse and Mandated Reporting
Definitions and indicators of sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect, as well as the legal obligations of a mandated reporter as defined by Florida. Highly recommended for educators.

Commercial Exploitation of Children
Teaches about the root cause of commercial sexual exploitation and why preventing sexual abuse is important to reducing the risk of children being sexually exploited.

"Bikers Against Child Abuse" (B.A.C.A.) exists with the intent to create a safer environment for abused children. Working in conjunction with local and state officials, they lend physical and emotional support to abused children by affiliation and physical presence.
