Planned Giving Learn About Our Planned Giving Options

At Gulf Coast Kid’s House, we believe that everyone deserves the peace of mind a plan for the future can bring. Your will is an essential legal document that doesn’t just protect your possessions — it also protects your loved ones (including children) and the communities you care about.

As part of our commitment to educating our community and building abuse- and neglect-free environments for children, we're pleased to announce our new partnership with FreeWill, a free, easy, and trusted online tool that guides you through the process of creating your will in 20 minutes or less. Over 630,000 people have used FreeWill to protect all they love. As you create your will, you will also have the opportunity to include gifts to causes that resonate with you. This costs nothing today but creates a legacy of meaning for charities that you hold dear. Whether or not you choose to include a gift in your will, FreeWill is 100% cost-free.

Bequests - Begin your legacy with us

To help you get started on your plans and legacy, you can use FreeWill, an online tool that guides you through the process of creating a legally valid will or trust. It's easy to use, accessible online and can be completed in 20 minutes. You can use this link.

Have you already included a gift in your will or estate? Please fill out this form to let us know! We would love to thank you for your generosity.

Non-probate assets

Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. You can use this online tool to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.

Qualified Charitable Deductions (QCD)

If you’re 70.5 or older and have a traditional IRA, you can use this secure online tool to make a donation from your IRA account. IRA gifts are generally not recognized as taxable income and if you must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RDM) this year, giving from your IRA is a compassionate way to fulfill it. You can learn more and fill out the forms for your IRA custodian, or print the forms to fill them out offline by using the secure tool linked above.

Donations of Stock

Donating stocks allows you to avoid the capital gains tax and if you itemize deductions, you can also take a charitable deduction for the entire donation amount. We've invested in this secure online tool that enables you to donated your appreciated assets in 10 minutes.

Thank you!

Investing in the children of our community is critical. We appreciate your consideration and welcome any questions. Please reach out to Stacey Kostevicki at 850-595-5780 with any questions.
