Escambia County School District

Welcome to our Escambia County School District resource page!  Gulf Coast Kid's House is proud to partner with our local school teachers, students and parents.  On this site, we will share important information about keeping the children of our community safe.

Throughout the school year, our Prevention Team will be teaching the Monique Burr Foundation's research-based MBF Child Safety MattersTM and MBF Teen Safety MattersTM programs which educate and empower children and teens about the dangers present in society today and how to help adults keep them safe.  Topics covered are developmentally appropriate and use child-friendly language.  Videos, discussions and activities are fun and engaging.

Each presentation will include the 5 Safety Rules that can be used throughout a child's life and in a variety of situations.  The 5 Safety Rules include:  Know What's Up, Spot Red Flags, Make a Move, Talk It Up, and No Blame, No Shame.  We would also love it if you would follow us on Social Media to find up to date important information and tips.  If your school is interested in offering a Parent Program, please contact Leslie Donovan at Prevention1@gulfcoastkidshouse.org 850-595-0922 or Paula Doty at Prevention@gulfcoastkidshouse.org 850-595-0384.
