It is important to know that EVERY PERSON OVER THE AGE OF 18 IN FLORIDA IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO REPORT SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE. Make a report when you have a reasonable suspicion of abuse. Reporters making a good faith report are protected from liability and may remain anonymous.

Congress has passed S534 Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse Act
The recent press surrounding Roy Moore and sexual abuse allegations highlights the crucial need for public education to show how vital it is that child sexual abuse is disclosed. Sadly, much of the conversation around the recent cases is the misconception that someone who was abused at 14 and didn’t disclose until adulthood was simply an opportunist.

WITH $200,000 DONATION TO GULF COAST KID’S HOUSE ENDOWMENT
Pensacola, FL – August 4th, 2017 – Fred Levin recently donated $200,000 to ensure future operations of Gulf Coast Kid’s House. This is Levin’s second large investment into GCKH, made in honor of his late wife, Marilyn Kapner Levin. In 2003, Levin donated $500,000 to purchase and name the Marilyn Kapner Levin Center for Child Advocacy and Child Abuse Prevention.
